Coniston Fowler and his pal wanted to leave the Ozarks in 1940, so they went to Canada to learn to fly and fight.
After the USA joined the fray, Connie spotted the Germans’ invasion fleet, and was involved in a dog-fight with two Messerschmitt 262s.
After the war he joined the CIA, and was tasked with finding an aircraft capable of discouraging the Chinese in the Vietnam conflict.
After detailed examination, he was left with the TSR 2. This was finished, tested, and deployed with atomic weapons.
This is the only book telling the story of TSR 2s in action.
